History of the Science Symposium

Achatz Hall of Science from 1969

Hosted by the Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics Departments of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Saint Francis, the science symposium is a long standing tradition dating back to 1980.

The school designs these one-day workshops for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in math, chemistry, biology, pre-professional science, environmental science and/or physical sciences.

By participating, you can also build lasting relationships with students from their high schools with similar interests. You can also meet and talk to current college students, chat with college admissions representatives and discuss career goals with faculty.
